PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the operation ratio of a refrigerator by uniformizing the whole article temperature distribution in a box and raising cold air blowout temperature by as much as the temperature distribution is uniformized. SOLUTION: This vending machine having a gap (24) allowing cold air 23 blown out of the lower part of the box to reach the top article 4C in the box is equipped with racks 3A and 3B which the arranged in the box and contain articles 4A to 4C, an evaporator 21 which produces cold air 23 at the lower part in the box, a fan 22 which sends this cold air 23, and a flow passage 24 formed of a guide 25 which is arranged perpendicularly to the flank sides of an in-box back surface 13 and a rack back surface 31 by utilizing the gap (24) between them and blocks a flow of the cold air 23 to the gap 28, thereby guiding the cold air 23 to the top article 3A in the box.
