PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a film from being exposed due to an erroneous operation, and to take out a film cartridge as far as possible in the case abnormality occurs at driving a lens barrel. SOLUTION: The controller is provided with an interlocking member for making a cartridge chamber cap in a locked state when the lens barrel is positioned in a photographing allowable moving range, and releasing the cartridge chamber cap from being locked when the lens barrel is moved and positioned at a photographing not allowable prescribed position, a driving means for driving the lens barrel, and drive control means #102 to #106 for continuously driving the lens barrel toward the prescribed position for a fixed time when the abnormality occurs in driving the lens barrel during the operation of driving the lens barrel to the prescribed position so that the film cartridge can be taken out.
