摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce adsorbed fuel in a canister efficiently without instabilizing the combustion of a lean operation in a lean burn engine. SOLUTION: The valve opening time T of a fuel injector in the stochiometric operation time of a lean burn engine is decided by T=T0×K1×K2 (T0: basic valve opening time, K1: air fuel ratio feedback correction coefficient, K2: purge density correction coefficient) and an air fuel ratio is feedback controlled to a constant value. In the time T2 in which the stoichiometric operation is switched to the lean operation under such state that the purge gas of the canister is introduced to the suction route of the engine, the feedback control is stopped and the air fuel ratio feedback correction coefficient K1 is fixed to 1 and the purge density correction coefficient K2 is used as it is and the valve opening time T is decided.
