<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video data management system that can surely and efficiently register video data arrived in real time via a network to a video server. SOLUTION: In this video data management system, video data arrived from an encoder 3 via a network 2 are sequentially stored in an input output interface buffer 11a of an input output interface section 11. The video data stored in the input output interface buffer 11a are being read to a data read buffer 13a without interruption under the control of an execution control section 13 and expanded into a switch memory 12 from the data read buffer 13a. The video data expanded in the switch memory 12 are registered in a prescribed disk 15a of a storage 15 according to a prescribed schedule under the control of the execution control section 13. A video server 1 is in operation by an operating clock faster than an operation clock of the encoder 3 by about several hundreds ppm on the basis of the reference of the operation clock of a timing generator 14 and the video data tend to underflow in the data read buffer 13a.</p> |
