PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability of unbalance correction by efficiency carrying out the correction in a short time. SOLUTION: A balancing machine 11 is provided with an unbalance correcting device 12, measures the unbalance characteristic of a work 15, and corrects the unbalance of the work 15 by means of the correcting device 12 in accordance with the measured results. The correcting device 12 is provided with a punching machine 18 which has a function that can remove a unit mass at once and removes the mass corresponding to the unbalance characteristics at a time or a plurality of times and an X-Y table 19 which moves the punching machine 18 in the X- and Y-directions along the plane of rotation of the work 15 while supporting the machine 18. The punching machine 18 adjusts the removing amount from the work 15 by nibbling.
