PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a rolling bearing device without damaging the rolling surface of a ball and a plurality of rows of inner ring's tracks and outer ring's tracks, by pressing a third member into a first member while measuring a resonance frequency of a rolling bearing device, and pressing the third member in a state in which the resonance frequency matches to a preset frequency. SOLUTION: When an inner ring 17 is pressed into a small diameter portion 15a to apply an adequate preload to each of balls 5, 5 during manufacture of a rolling bearing device, a vibration sensor 27 measures a resonance frequency of this rolling bearing device, pressure oil is sent to a push-in device 31, a push-in arm 32 presses the inner ring 17, and thus the inner ring 17 is pressed in and engaged with the small diameter portion 15a of a shaft 15. In a state in which the resonance frequency matches to a preset frequency, feeding of the pressure oil to the push-in device 31 is stopped to finish a press-in operation. In this state, this rolling bearing device applied with the adequate preload is completed.
