PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make efficiently performable the judgement to packets sent from a plurality of input/output devices by judging whether or not data put in a received packet are normal and carrying on the data transfer when it is judged that the received packet is normal. SOLUTION: An arithmetic part 113 confirms the identification number stored in the received packet. Device control information corresponding to the received packet is determined. The arithmetic part 113, after judging that the serial number stored in the packet is also normal, increases the counter value of the device control information by one. The arithmetic part 113 informs a transfer control part 115 that the packet is normal. The transfer control part 115 carriers on the data transfer according to the judgment result of the arithmetic part 113 when the contents of the packet are normal. The transfer control part 115 ends the data transfer abnormally when the contents of the packet are abnormal, informs the data transfer source of that fact, and ends the process.
