PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine which does not consume fuel, is non-polluting, can suppress exhaust gas, can suppress noise and is ecological. SOLUTION: A pollution-free engine has an optical generator 1, a DC motor 10 and a gear transmission device 17. The gear transmission device 17 comprises a main gear arranged vertically and one or more satellite gears 20 which are geared with the circumference of the main gear. An armature 12 of the DC motor 10 is turned by a current supplied by the optical generator 1. The main gear of the gear transmission device 17 is turned by a rotary shaft 18 coupled with the armature 12, and the satellite gears 20 around the main gear are driven to be rotated accordingly.
