PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start up a state required for a user after starting a system without requiring complicated operation. SOLUTION: When a start specification key 15a is depressed, a started state specification processing subroutine 23 is accessed. The subroutine 23 stores information for restoring a state specified by a user in a specified start state buffer 24. When a start processing subroutine 21 judges the existence of start specification at the time of starting the system, the subroutine 23 is accessed and a start specification program in respective function programs 22 is started up based on the information stored in the buffer 24. Consequently the state specified by the user can be restored and the user can start operation from that state.
