摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and convenient slider mechanism capable of operating a connector installed in a place hard to reach with a hand or a finger from a remote place. SOLUTION: This slider mechanism for fitting and separating both male and female connectors of a cable connector and a circuit board to/from each other is composed of a slider body 5 and a slider operation part 6. The slider operation part 6 has a shaft 6C, an inner cylinder 6A and an outer cylinder 6B slidably holding the shaft 6C in its lengthwise direction, plural lock balls 6D held movably in a direction perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the shaft 6C in plural holding holes 6A1 formed in the inner cylinder, and a coil spring 6E for always energizing the shaft 6C so as to project the respective lock balls 6D from the respective holding holes 6A1. When the shaft 6C is pressed compressing the coil spring 6E, the respective lock balls 6D enter a slot 6C2 of the shaft 6C, and when the pressure of the shaft 6C is released, the slider operation part 6 and the slider body 5 are brought into a locked state by the respective lock balls 6D.
