PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To modify a program to be executed by a group of processors without fully stopping the group of processors. SOLUTION: In this multi-processor system, the group of processors (211, 212, 213, 214, 221, 222, 223, 224) is grouped into two crusters (a cruster 1, a cruster 2), a distributed processing of a job is normally performed irrespective of the crusters by all processors, when a program is modified, a mode is transited to the one to perform the distributed processing of the job only between processors of the same cruster first, a processing at the cruster 1 is suspended as continuing a processing at the cruster 2, programs of respective local memories LM of the processors (211, 212, 213, 214) of the cruster 1 are modified, next, the processing at the cruster 2 is suspended as continuing the processing at the cruster 1, programs of respective local memories LM of the processors (221, 222, 223, 224) of the cruster 2 are modified, the processing is restarted after modification and after that, the processors are restored to normal operation.
