PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breake of a lock arm displaced in a direction separating from a connector housing. SOLUTION: Since the thickness Tk of a base end part 12 of a lock arm 11 is set larger than the thickness Ta of an arm part 13, the flexural rigidity of the base end part 12 is larger than that of the arm part 13. When the lock arm 11 is tilted and displaced in a direction separating from a connector housing 10 by pivoting on the base end part 12, the base end part 12 is harder to bend than the arm part 13 so that its distortion is small. A tilting force acting on the lock arm 11 is relaxed by the deformation of the arm part 13 easier to bend than the base end part 12. Thus, stress in response to the tilting displacement of the lock arm 11 is not concentrated on the base end part 12 but dispersed in the arm part 13, so that breake of the base end part 12 is prevented.
