PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio mat switch device offering cost decrease and simplified construction and suffering no damage by eliminating the need for an antenna. SOLUTION: A case 9 containing a sheet switch 6 and a communication equipment 7 is integrally provided with a mat casing 2. The sheet switch 6 is turned on when counter electrodes 3, 4 are subjected to thrust by a human body put thereon. The case 9 is formed of stainless not to be deformed if a human body is put thereon, in which the communication equipment 7 and a battery for supplying power thereto are stored. The communication equipment 7 detects that the sheet switch 6 is turned on and transmits radio signals. In this case, the case 9, constructed to serve also as an antenna, is electrically connected at its connection 9b to an output terminal of the communication equipment 7. The case 9 allows the sufficient transmission of signals in the communication range of specified small power.
