PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modular jack with no reflection and convenient for transmission of a high frequency signal. SOLUTION: This modular jack has a housing 11 in which a plug insertion opening 11a is opened; a connecting terminal part 13 comprising plural terminal pieces 13a to be connected to an outer electric wire; a contact part 12 comprising plural contacts 12a elastically coming in contact with a contact of a modular plug inserted into the housing; and a connecting part 14 comprising plural connecting lines 14a for connecting each contact piece and each contact. The contact, the contact piece, and the contact line are united as a lead frame 16. A dielectric part 15a of a plate having flexibility is installed so that one side comes in contact with the lead frame, a ground plane part having flexibility is installed on the other side of the dielectric body, and micro strip line structure is constituted with the lead frame, the dielectric part, and the ground plane part.
