PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a slider having no warp and a high dimensional accuracy, without deteriorating the moldability and the appearance. SOLUTION: The method is to injection-mold a slider 20 of a magnetic tape cassette, using a die. The slider has side walls 20d erecting at the right and left ends of an oblong horizontal plane vertically to this plane. At least the upper and lower end faces of vertical walls of a side core 36 for forming the side walls 20d are rounded so that the side walls 20d run onto the side core 36 when the die is opened after molding.
