A kettle and method of using the same. The kettle has a primary compartment and a secondary compartment. There is a cold water inlet into the secondary compartment, a warm water outlet out of the primary compartment, and at least one seepage passage adjacent a bottom of the kettle through which cold water seeps from the secondary compartment into the primary compartment. The kettle is filled with water and heated. Water is dispensed by adding more water slowly into the cold water inlet of the secondary compartment until water flows out of the warm water outlet of the primary compartment.
