PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make ordinary vehicle discrimination disable by making an ordinary communication impossible when a vehicle-side communication equipment is illegally altered, specially, when one ID is changed without permission and to automatically give notice of the abnormal state of the vehicle from outside the vehicle instead with an alarm signal. SOLUTION: This discrimination system is equipped with an external communication means which is provided outside the vehicle. Further, the vehicle-side communication means is equipped with an abnormality notification means 150 as a vehicle-side communication means, storage devices 30 and 70 which are installed at different positions and stored with discrimination information respectively, a 1st control means 60 which compares those pieces of discrimination information and allows a communication between the vehicle-side communication means and external communication means when those pieces of discrimination information match each other, and sends a signal giving notice of abnormality occurrence when not, a 2nd control means 140 which sends a signal giving notice of abnormality occurrence in response to the detection of an abnormal state in the vehicle, and a 3rd control means 140 which receives the signal giving notice of abnormality from the external communication means and notifies the driver of the vehicle of its contents.
