PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably pay media, such as bills with a high coefficient of friction out, one by one, by preventing multiple media from being fed one over another even when they are thrown in together. SOLUTION: The press-contact surface between a feed roller 18 and a gate roller 5 which are provided behind a kick roller 3 for paying media 1 such as bills out is constituted in level with or above a guide 12 which guides the media 1. Consequently, the media 1 are not sent one over another to improve the reliability.
