<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melting apparatus capable of completely incinerating harmful matter and performing refuse incineration with high efficiency. SOLUTION: There are provided a melting furnace for containing a high temperature molten liquid involving incineration ash and a cooling apparatus for cooling combustion waste produced in the melting furnace. The entire object to be melted thrown into a furnace body 11 is dipped in the high temperature melting solution and is melted with its heat. A melting table 17 is disposed on a bottom of the furnace body 11 for placing the entire object to be melted, and an upper side of the melting table 17 is served as a high temperature region and a lower side a low temperature region. Further, there is provided a slag discharge apparatus 18 in which molten slag accumulated on the bottom of the furnace body 11 is solidified into a small lump like pebbles.</p> |
