PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner capable of contriving the reduction of the number of part items, the improvement of assembling workability and cost reduction. SOLUTION: An outdoor unit is provided with a compressor 7, a heat exchanger 12 and a ventilating fan 9 which are arranged in a casing. In this case, the casing is provided with a bottom plate 1 and a casing front surface unit 2, mounted on the bottom plate 1 and in which a front surface plate 2a, a ceiling plate 2b and side plate 2c are integrated. The front surface plate 2a of the front surface unit 2 of the casing is connected foldably to a ceiling plate 2b through a thin unit for a hinge while the front surface plate 2a of the front surface unit 2 of the casing is connected foldably to the side plate 2c through a thin unit for a hinge. |
