PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a person who is in a bathroom to call another person who is at another optional place by performing the calling via a telephone circuit and by means of a bath remote controller having a slave unit function that can communicate with a master unit having a telephone function that can perform the calling via the telephone circuit. SOLUTION: A user who is taking a bath operates a bath remote controller 2 to supply the hot water into a bathtub B or to heat the bath again. A telephone circuit 3 connects an ordinary telephone set 32 to a master unit 4 via an automatic exchange 31. The exchange 31 usually connects the set 32 to the circuit 3 with priority but disconnects the set 32 to the circuit 3 when a call signal is outputted from the unit 4 and then connects automatically the unit 4 to the circuit 3. The controller 2 has a slave unit function to communicate with the unit 4 via the radio waves. Thus, the user can operate the controller 2 to call another person via the circuit 3.
