HEAT INSULATING BOARD FOR LNG TRANSPORT SHIP

PURPOSE: A heat insulating board for a LNG(Liquefied Natural Gas) transport ship is provided to achieve the improve convenience of construction by adopting a composite heat insulating board using stitched fiber for allowing the ultra low temperature LNG to be stored and transported under atmospheric pressure. CONSTITUTION: A heat insulating board comprises a lower panel section(110) having a structure where the upper and lower surfaces of regular polyurethane foam(111) using a stitched fiber are coated with fiber reinforced plastic(112), and a plurality of unit panels with a predetermined area are arranged in sequence and attached to an inner hull(1) of a double hull so as to function as a secondary heat insulator and a secondary protective wall; an upper panel section(120) having a structure where the upper surface of regular polyurethane foam(121) is coated with fiber reinforced plastic(122) using stitched fiber, fly-wood(123) is attached onto the upper surface of the regular polyurethane foam coated with the fiber reinforce plastic, and a plurality of unit panels(120) having a predetermined area are arranged in sequence and attached to the lower panel section so as to function as a first heat insulator; and a membrane sheet section(130) made up of stainless steel and forming a first protective wall at the top of the upper panel section.
