PURPOSE: A crane device is provided to reduce the capacity of a driving motor by balancing the torques acting on paired drums in the whole area of the movement of a hoisting accessory in a crane device. CONSTITUTION: The hoisting accessory(18) is traversed by winding and unwinding wire ropes(21),(22),(27),(28) by rotating rotary drums(15),(16) by the driving of a traverse motor(41), continuously variable transmissions(47),(52) are mounted for changing a rotating speed of the rotary drums(15),(16, and a controller(65) controls the speed change of the non-stage transmissions(47),(52) for balancing the forces received by the drums(15),(16) from the wire ropes(21),(22),(27),(28).
