To prevent oxidation, lemon juice or vitamin C is added to <i>Helianthus tuberosus</i> juice. After further adding plum extract, the mixture is boiled, filtered and bottled. Thus, a drink, which is tasty and easy to drink regardless of the high <i>H. tuberosus</i> concentration, can be obtained. Because of being free from starch, this drink can be safely given to diabetics as a sweetness source. Thus, <i>H. tuberosus</i> can be provided in the form of a product easy to take.
