PURPOSE: A cooking utensil having a deodorizing device is provided to restrain diffusion of smelly substances into the air by liquefying or solidifying the substances generated with vapor while cooking by refrigerant receiving in an inner container. CONSTITUTION: A cooking utensil having a deodorizing device includes a circular rib(7) protruded upwardly having an inner space penetrated vertically by a part of a lid(2) for covering a main body for receiving food to cook and a plurality of grating-shaped grooves(6) inside, a porous film(8) stacked with a film fixing element(9) on the grating shaped groove in the circular rib and formed of water resistant fibers for filtering substances discharged outside in the process of cooking, a deviation preventing element(10) coupled at an upper end part of the circular rib for preventing the deviation of the porous film and the film fixing element, an outer container(21) integrally fixed to an outer wall of the circular rib, an inner container(22) integrally fixed to the outer wall of the circular rib to be positioned in the outer container, a lid(23) for covering both of the inner and outer containers and formed with a ventilation hole(24) in the center, and a refrigerant for condensing and collecting smelly substances in the inner container.
