PURPOSE: The remote management method for portable phone data is provided to input and revise user data without the necessity of connecting a communication cable between a portable phone and a computer. CONSTITUTION: A user inputs and revises the private information of his portable phone(100) using a data manager program installed in a computer(200). The user transmits his private information stored in the computer(200) to the portable phone(100) and vice versa. In the case of modifying the private information of the portable phone(100) when the computer(200) stores identical information to the portable phone(100), the user revises information stored in the computer(200) and transmits it to the portable phone(100). In case that only the portable phone(100) has the latest private information, the user downloads it from the portable phone(100), then revises private information in the computer(200) and transmits it to the portable phone(100). Private information transmission between the computer(200) and the portable phone(100) is achieved through a portable phone exchange(400) and a base station(300) via a telephone network(500) using a modem mounted in the computer(200).
