BLOOD PROCESSING SYSTEMS AND METHODS EMPLOYING FLUID PRESSURE ACTUATED PUMPS AND VALVES

Systems and methods for processing blood use at least one fluid activated pu mp (PPN) and at least one fluid activated valve (VN). The systems and methods apply positive and negative fluid pressures to operate the pump and valve. Different pressure conditions are applied to the pump and the valve (VA1- VA25), to insure that a valve used in conjunction with a pump is not overcom e by the pressure applied to operate the pump, and that both the valve and pum p are not overcome by normal system (10) processing pressures.
