PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retard gas generation inside a battery even when the battery is stored at high temperature and enhance discharging characteristics at a room temperature and a low temperature. SOLUTION: A power generating element composed of a positive electrode 5, a negative electrode 6, and an electrolyte is housed in an outer case, and the outer case deformable by slightly increase in inner pressure of the battery is used, and a gel-like polymer electrolyte prepared with a solid polymer, an electrolyte salt, and an electrolyte solution is used, and as an active material of the positive electrode 5, a lithium-containing composite oxide represented by LiCo1-XZrXO2 (0<X<=0.1) is used. |
