PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provice an easy-to-assemble optical pickup capable of convergently emitting a laser beam to an optical recording medium beyond a diffraction limit by a single lens. SOLUTION: The optical pickup device 10 is equipped with a semiconductor laser 1, collimator lens 2, half mirror 3, objective lens 100, condensing lens 7, and a photodetector 8. The objective lens 100 consists of a first lens 5 and a second lens 4, which are assembled by fitting a part of the first lens 5 to a recess provided in a part of the second lens 4. As a result, the optical axis of the first lens 5 can be easily aligned with that of the second lens 4. |
