Balsam for care and treatment of damaged skin, e.g. with wounds or ulcers, comprising carrier, e.g. St. John's wort oil, and herbal active agents, e.g. lavender, geranium and bergamot essences

A composition (I), specifically a care balsam, comprises (A) vaseline and/or milk fat, vegetable oil and bees wax or St. John's wort oil as carrier; and (B) lavender essence, geranium essence, bergamot essence and camomile and/or eucalyptus essence as active agents. Alternatively (I) comprises (A) St. John's wort oil and (B) lavender essence, geranium essence and bergamot essence. An Independent claims are included for the preparation of (I) by homogenizing the active agents (B) in the carrier (A), preferably after preheating both components to 40-60 deg C.
