A non-aqueous liquid electrolyte secondary cell having a positive electrode capable of charging and discharging, a non-aqueous liquid electrolyte containing a Li salt and a negative electrode capable of charging and discharging, wherein at least one member of the positive electrode, the non-aqueous liquid electrolyte and the negative electrode contains at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an ester of phosphoric acid having three aliphatic hydrocarbon groups each having seven to twelve carbon atoms, an ester of phosphoric acid having two aliphatic hydrocarbon groups or aromatic hydrocarbon groups each having one to twelve carbon atoms, and an ester of phosphoric acid having one aliphatic hydrocarbon group or aromatic hydrocarbon group having one to twelve carbon atoms. In the secondary cell, the reaction of the non-aqueous liquid electrolyte and an electrode thereof is suppressed, and the fact results in the suppression of the decrease in discharging capacity due to charge-discharge cycles and in cell characteristics during storage at a high temperature. |
