摘要 |
High temperature fuel cell consists of a cathode, an electrolyte and an anode. The cathode has a perovskite composition and the electrolyte is an ion conductor. In the region of the boundary surface cathode/electrolyte the perovskite of the cathode material partially decomposes into its oxides and there are an increased number of micropores having pore sizes of less than 2 microns m. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of the high temperature fuel cell comprising forming a fuel cell from known materials for the cathode, electrolyte and anode, and subjecting the cell to a cathodic over-voltage at the working temperature of the cell until there is no more reduction of the inner resistance of the cell. |
