PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress incidence of outside light on light emission faces without shading the light emission faces with visors, and to improve a contrast, in a light emission type planar display device arranged with plural pixels each having a single light emission face emitting light of a color wherein light from two or more light emitting elements are mixed. SOLUTION: In this device, a screen is covered with a sheet 5 provided with louver boards 6 comprising micro optical elements, and a sheet 3 formed with microprisms 4 each having a crest facing to the lateral direction of the screen. The number of the louver boards 6 in the sheet 5 in the longitudinal direction of the screen and the number of the microprisms 4 in the sheet 3 in the longitudinal direction are respectively at least twice the number of light emission faces 2 of pixels in the longitudinal direction, while a ratio of a pitch of the louver boards 6 to a pitch of the microprisms 4 in the longitudinal direction is 2/(2m+1) wherein (m) is a positive integer. |
