PURPOSE: Provided are an artificial leather and a preparing method thereof having air permeability, softness and durability like a natural leather. CONSTITUTION: The preparing method is comprised of: (first process)coating polyurethane mixed with water soluble solvent on the surface of a dewatered and humidified fiber layer(100) with a knife coating device(300) after settling; ripening the coated layer into a chain porous texture in a coagulating chamber; washing to prepare a leather layer(101) formed fine artificial trichopore(102); (second process)coating and drying repeatedly on the surface of the leather layer(101) without no choke of the fine artificial trichopore(102) by a gravure printing device(400) to form a reinforcing surface layer(103); and then (the third process)preheating the reinforcing surface layer(103) and the leather layer(101), followed by expressing leather pattern on the reinforcing surface layer(103) by a roller sealing device(500). The artificial leather is comprised of a fiber layer(100), the leather layer(101) and the reinforcing surface layer(103).
