PURPOSE: A microwave oven is provided to prevent an illuminating lamp from being damaged and to save a production cost. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven comprises a duct member(10) forming an air passage facing to a cooking compartment from a component compartment and forming a lamp through hole(12) passing an illuminating lamp; an insertion unit(21) inserted into a through hole(49) on the circumference of the lamp through hole; and a lamp fixing holder(20) fixing a socket flange(33) by bending a portion(23) with a fixing portion(25). In this structure, a lamp unit(30) is installed in the duct member by holding an illuminating member(31) of the lamp unit in the duct member through the lamp through hole and by inserting the insertion into the through hole. Then, the fixing portion of the lamp fixing holder is regularly bent in the movable height of the socket flange based on the portion(23) so the lamp unit is moved vertically. Thus, impact is buffered and the luminous filament of the illuminating lamp isn't short-circuited.
