<p>The invention relates to a machining tool, in particular, to a milling or broaching tool. Said tool comprises a tool body (2), on whose outer casing (3) several primary blades (11a-11f') for producing at least one pointed projection on the surface of one workpiece to be machined are arranged axially and are offset in relation to one another in the direction of the periphery. Said blades work jointly on opposite flank areas of the pointed projection which is to be produced on the workpiece, whereby the primary blades (11a-11f') are arranged in several primary-blade rows (10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, 10e). According to the invention, the primary blades (11a-11f') of the milling tool (1) are arranged with an n-fold offset, where n ≥ 2, so that n+1 sequential primary-blade rows (10a-10e) form a peripheral segment (20, 20') and that the peripheral segment(s) (20, 20') thus defined extend(s) in the direction of the periphery at least over part of the outer casing (3) of the milling tool (1), in such a way that each of two adjacent primary blades (11a, 11b; 11a'. 11b'; 11a', 11b'; 11a''', 11b''') on each primary-blade row (10a-10e) produces pointed projections which lie at a distance from one another of n pointed projections on the workpiece.</p> |
