<p>The present invention relates to methods, compositions, devices and kits for the prevention and treatment of urinary tract disorders in mammals, including, but not limited to, urinary incontinence of any etiology, urinary hesitancy, fibrosis of the urinary tract, urinary dribbling, cystitis of any etiology, urinary frequency, and bladder cancer. The present invention provides methods for preventing and treating urinary tract disorders in mammals by administration of a therapeutic compound to mucosal membranes in the lower urinary tract of the mammal. The present invention also provides devices for administering a therapeutic compound to mucosal membranes in the lower urinary tract of the mammal.</p> |
