PURPOSE: A method for forming a plasma display panel is provided to reduce production cost and power consumption and improve life span and contrast ratio. CONSTITUTION: A groove having same size as a pattern of a bus electrode is formed on glass substrate by using an etcher. The pattern of the bus electrode is formed by stuffing the groove with a bus electrode paste using dispense method. A pattern of a transparent electrode is formed on an upper part of the transparent electrode pattern. A black stripes are formed among the pattern of the bus electrode without space to improve contrast ratio. Two layers of transparent dielectric is formed on the pattern of the transparent electrode and the pattern of the bus electrode using layered beta printing. A front plasma display panel is completed by applying a protective layer such as MgO to upper part of the layered transparent dielectric. A rear plasma display panel is completed by forming a groove having same size as an address electrode on the glass substrate, a pattern of the address electrode in the groove and partition walls between the address electrode at a space for separation from adjacent cells and applying white backs to the side of the walls and to the upper part of the glass substrate for improvement of brightness and a fluorescent material to upper part of the whole white back. |
