PURPOSE: A print control device, a printer device and an image printing system are provided to request a suitable response due to a user by transmitting/receiving information representing detailed print status even in devices accessed to an interface according to an IEEE 1394 rule. CONSTITUTION: The printer device(3) consists of a STB(Set Top Box)(3) and a data input part(31). The STB(3) generates a print state information request requesting print state information including error information and alarm information, outputs image data and the print state information request with a packet according to an IEEE 1394 standard, and has a data conversion part(13) inputting a response to the print state information request. The data input part(31) generates the print state information during printing as the response to the print state information request to output the information to the data conversion part(13).
