DEVICE AND METHOD FOR STANDARD VOICE INTERFACE AND VOICE CONTROLLER

PURPOSE: A device and a method for standard voice interface and voice controller are provided to control various kinds of apparatus by using standard publication commands to determine whether voice controllers are usable in the environment or not and the names of the voice controllers. CONSTITUTION: Users(101A to 101H) exist and the voice controllers controlled to be operated by a standard voice user interface(VUI) exist in the environment(100). The standard VUI command includes the identification phrases for determining whether the voice controllers(102A to 101H) are usable in the one environment or not. Another standard VUI command is disposed in order to determine the names of the voice controllers 102A to H and to change these names. The users(101A to 101H) announces one of the associated appliance name to the voice controllers(102A to 102H) after relative silence for a specified period in order to make access to the functions of the voice controllers(102A to 102H).
