A suction nozzle capable of sucking electronic parts of different sizes. A nozzle body (71) is formed with a plurality of minute holes that are open at one of their respective ends to a suction surface (71a) and at the other ends thereof to a communication surface (71b) communicating with a vacuum chamber (90) associated with a hollow shaft (23). The length (L) of the minute holes is such that with some of the openings in the suction surface (71a) closed, the negative pressure required for suction in the vacuum chamber is maintained by the generated pressure loss in the minute holes communicating with the unclosed openings in the suction surface (71a).
