The fuel injection valve for an internal combustion motor, using a pump/channel/jet system, has a pressure relief piston (13) with a longitudinal sliding movement in the jet holder (5). It is at the rear side of the jet needle (4), in the return flow channel (16) which branches from the feed channel (8) back to the fuel tank, to act as a control valve to control the movement of the fuel return flow. The piston (13) has an array of drillings (14) to link the fuel feed channel to the fuel return channel (16) leading to the fuel tank, on the opening pressure from the injection pump.
