MANUFACTURING METHOD OF RED GINSENG EXTRACT

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing red ginseng extract is provided to prepare the red ginseng extract by steaming undried ginseng or white ginseng without red ginseng using a steamer in home. CONSTITUTION: Red ginseng extract is manufactured by: steaming undried ginseng or white ginseng for about 2-5hours by steam generated from boiling water; drying the steamed undried ginseng or white ginseng; and extracting active substances like a various kinds of phenol compounds, maltol substance, saponin Rg or Rh, belonged to the ginseng or generated by the steaming process, through continuously heating the dried ginseng of the dried process in a soaking state for over 18hours.
