The transmission has a hydraulic control device (100) with two control plates and an intermediate layer as well as a torsion insert between the control device and rotatable shaft which consists of two coaxial tubular elements (110, 111) each engaging with an axial end area into sockets of the shaft (180) and each engaging by their other axial end area in a stepped bore of a control plate. The intermediate layer serves as the axial stop of a tubular element. The stepped bore has at least two different diameters at different axial positions and the two coaxial tubular elements are arranged with one of their axial end areas sealingly in these areas of different diameters
