PURPOSE: A polar plate for lithium secondary battery and method for manufacturing the same is provided to lengthen useful life of battery and improve capacity by adding conducting polymer to one of positive or negative pole. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the step of adding conducting polymer to the constituent of polar plate by mixing the conducting polymer or a mixture of conducting polymer and non-conducting polymer with the active material or a binder, or scattering the conducting polymer or the mixture into water and coating the resultant material onto the surface of the active material; the step of mixing the constituent of polar plate added with the conducting polymer, with a solvent so as to prepare the mixture at a slurry state, and coating the surface of the electrode substrate with the mixture at slurry state; the step of manufacturing dried polar plate by allowing the solvent to be evaporated in an oven; and the step of rolling the dried polar plate.
