PURPOSE: A matched filter, filtering method and multimedia digital broadcasting using the same are provided so that reduction of SNR and increase of circuit complicacy can be prevented by automatically adjusting a carrier frequency according to a carrier frequency offset. CONSTITUTION: In a multimedia digital broadcasting receiving device using the first matched filter(102), a pre-processing unit(101) converts an IF analog signal into a band pass digital signal, and outputs a mixed filter input. In addition, the first matched filter(102) automatically adjusts the matched filter input from the pre-processing unit(102) according to a feedback carrier frequency, thus outputting a matched filter output. Thereafter, a post-processing unit(103) post-processes the matched filter output from the first matched filter(102). A carrier restoring unit(104) restores a carrier frequency from the signal post-processed in the post-processing unit(103), and feeds back the carrier frequency to the first matched filter(102). Therefore, the matched filter can automatically adjust the carrier frequency according to the frequency offset of the carrier.
