PURPOSE: A method and a device for controlling interrupting power in a mobile communication system, are provided to suspend transmission without compensating a channel gain if a channel gain is low so that receiving power can be raised in a state that an average transmission power is constant, and to lower average transmission power for reducing interrupt to another user. And the method and the device enable a near-far problem and the change of the channel gain to be solved. CONSTITUTION: A base station sets up threshold gamma-0, target (Eb/I-0), and target Rs, for controlling reverse link power(S1,S6,S10). An interrupt probability of Po by the threshold gamma-0, and receiving power of S-R are calculated(S2,S7). A channel gain of L, which is a slow fading component, is calculated(S3), and compared with the threshold gamma-0(S4). If the L is not less than gamma-0, transmission power S(L) is set up as S-R/L, and a transmission speed R(L) is set up as Rs/(1-(P-0))(S8). If the L is less than gamma-0, S(L) and R(L) are set up as zero(S5). The S(L) and R(L) are transmitted to a terminal, and the transmission power and the transmission speed are regulated in the terminal(S9). |
