PURPOSE: Provided is a tobacco substitute composition which does not contain nicotine and has a good effect on quitting smoking. CONSTITUTION: The tobacco substitute composition consists of 80-90wt.pts. of Eucommia Ulmoides, 1-10wt.pts. of Glycyrrhiza glabra, and 1-10wt.pts. of Perilla frutescens. Optionally flavoring, sodium chloride, glycerol, sweetener, or spice can be added to this composition. Glycyrrhiza glabra relaxes respiratory organs and discharges phlegm, and Perilla frutescens is effective on coughing.
