PURPOSE: To enable a timer period to be restored to a value of default after adjusting a timer period by a means of fuse cutting or the like. CONSTITUTION: A forced control signal S5 outputted from a forced control signal generating means 200 is made normally 'H'. At the time, when a fuse 121 in a transfer gate selecting circuit 120 is not cut off, a selection circuit output signal S3 is made 'L', a transfer gate TGx is selected, an output signal S4 of a period selection circuit 100 is made the same period as a default signal S1. Also, when the fuse 121 is cut off, the selection circuit output signal S3 is made 'H', a transfer gate TGa is selected, an output signal S4 is made the same period as an input signal S2. On the other hand, when the forced control signal S5 is 'L', the transfer gate TGx is selected independently of cut off of the fuse 121, the output signal S4 is made the same period as the default signal S1.
