<p>A technical system for emulating user interactions in a computer aided design data exchange environment is disclosed. According to one embodiment, the system comprises: a computer aided design module configured to provide graphical design functionality; a graphical image server configured to communicate with the computer aided design module, a cursor device, and a display device; a proxy configured to intercept data and control signals between the graphical image server and the computer aided design module; and an interpreter communicatively coupled to the proxy, the interpreter configured to evaluate the data and control signals intercepted by the proxy, and to send data and control signals addressed to the computer aided design module, the data and control signals emulating a user interaction with the computer aided design module. Methods for achieving the same, both involving an intermediate interpreter, are also disclosed.</p> |
